Oh my, what a beautiful story. I haven't seen the new movie yet, but I love how you expand on the bond between Jasmine and Rajah here. His wanting to protect her and fighting off all her suitors is so touching and fits perfectly into canon. I love that he immediately recognizes the street-rat smell on "Prince Ali," and the ending scene of him meeting their "cub" hit me right in the feels. I love storytelling through an unexpected/non-human narrator, and this piece does it perfectly. Wonderful work - I'll be sharing this at my forum.
