Shocknawe 425 chapter 5 . 7/8
I really like this story, I really like the universe building and the details you're taking into account, but a part of me feels a little annoyed with the Asari and how they judge humanity so without really understanding the context behind why Humanity is the way it is. I don't know, I just feel a little miffed from how the Asari judge humanity in such a way, but don't fully understand the struggle they had to endure just to survive.
Axccel chapter 7 . 7/6
Looking forward to asskicking and chainsaws! 'Scuse me, I mean "flash forged teeth and tooootally not chainsaws because that'd be illegal, ignore the fact they're rotating, they're on a rail not a chain so haha rules lawyered!" bayonets.
Axccel chapter 5 . 7/6
I want to point out humans can eat both levo and dextro. We have both on Earth as well as both levo and dextro based life forms. We can get nutrients from both, making us (and our world) very unique in the Mass Effect universe (though BioWare never did the research to learn this).
Axccel chapter 4 . 7/6
Mmmm, well. See, the ad hoc "organized chaos" of the Gears is how the US military functions and has proven quite successful with had has done so for about a century. Each squad or platoon basically does its own thing to fulfill objectives given by company leaders who do the same for orders given by those above them and so on to achieve a known mutual goal. As a result, no enemy knows what US soldiers are going to do because the soldiers don't even know. They keep constant contact with each other to co-ordinate maneuvers.

The Turian's structured style of warfare is suicide against this way of war. You just become a predictable victim with no ability to adjust to the enemy and are swiftly outmaneuvered and overwhelmed or simply bypassed.
Axccel chapter 3 . 7/6
It's a lot like what happened to the Krogan. The Council used them and then threw them away without teaching them anything like population control or administration. The humans of Sera were removed from the threat of extinction and left to be eventually all enslaved by pirates and Batarians but doesn't give a damn because the only reason they helped the humans at all was to pat themselves on the back and show off to the Citadel associates.

...I wonder if they brought any light mass missiles or Hammer of Dawn? I'm sure the Citadel wouldn't leave those things laying around and would love to study it as a sort of payment. Not that they wouldn't have stolen it anyway as they tend to think "If no one can stop us, then it's totally fine for us to do whatever we want." Even in canon.
Shocknawe 425 chapter 7 . 7/6
I really like what you have going for this story. I can’t wait to see what you come up with next, but I am curious about several things like will you treat this as a merging of the Gears or War 4 campaign with Mass Effect where we start with JD, Del, and Kait and continue from there? Also, will you include things from the Gears universe like the Stalker Armored Kantus, or the Vulcan Minigun? I’m also really interested if you will include the Berserker Matriarch later on and key details about the Locust and the COG.

Anyway, I hope you update this story soon! Take care and stay safe during the current pandemic.
oldtimeydude chapter 7 . 6/26
Hmm... Adam Fenix hasn't been mentioned at all. Something tells me with all that extra time he's had he'll actually be able to solve the imulsion problem without killing the Locust. Leaving them to be a pain for years to come.

That's not even getting into Myrahh potentially finding her daughter and the consequences that would bring.
LunchablesPizza chapter 7 . 6/17
This is an interesting story. The world building and fusion of the universes are great, though the reading is pretty encyclopedic as most of the chapters have been codex articles and such. But it seems that you're getting to the meat of the story now so I'm excited to see where you take it.
Ferdiad chapter 4 . 5/25
I don't like them being a client race but it's smart, I only hope they can build up enough that they could get independence some day.
ivanacco1 chapter 7 . 5/24
Sad that humanity had to become a client race to the turians, i hope that in time humanity rises up and takes the mantle for itself.
Didd23 chapter 7 . 5/20
Dang, I haven't seen a good gow ME crossover in years.
Guest chapter 7 . 5/15
No Carmines? That's a shame, I wanna hear about the grub killer himself
Blaze1992 chapter 7 . 5/15
Kinda interesting but would've liked the first contact to be sometime during or after GEARS 4 if they were gonna be left to the wolves.

Also does this mean the queen and Adam are still alive on sera?
daggercloak000 chapter 1 . 5/14
