Nice story, it was heart warming.

Aww, oddly heartwarming mixed in with the existential dread. I really enjoyed the puns, along with the emotional moments you mixed in. I also enjoyed the Carol and Lori shipping and Lily stuff.

Though I will say, I feel like you could've done more with the trip back, like have Lisa's notes having fallen in with her so that the time travel stuff would've been lost on Lily. Maybe even having Lily not lie about the ability to travel.

This story was awesome, time travel is always fun in fiction. And the idea that Lily gets inspired to pursue science because of Lisa is adorable, goes to show how close the two of them are. It was also fun seeing how maternal Lori and Carol are, I'm surprised they haven't already adopted in this universe

I thought this was going to be something science fiction oriented, but I actually loved the way it went from futuristic to something warmhearted between Lisa and Lily. Age may change a person's development and interests, but family bonds span the length of time and are forever.

On a side note, I loved the addition of Lori and Carol as partners. It was sad to see how Bobby met such an unfortunate demise, but I'm glad Carol was able to help Lori pick up the pieces as best as she can.

Time travel's a hell of a thing when dealing with it's ramifications. Lisa had quite the journey in the future and seeing Lori and Carol together was quite the surprise, same with Lily following in Lisa's footsteps and growing up to be a scientist in her own right. I got quite the laugh at all the things that changed in the future, including the shots at Burger King and the politics. Rather wholesome all the same, from start to finish, so thanks for this wonderful story!
