At first I was like "what?" why would Din not want the kid to heal her. But then I understood that he wanted to do it himself as a form of repentance.
But I could see the kid getting all grumpy face at being put in his play pen when he knew he could help!
Yep, if you have a Jedi around, best that they be on YOUR side...and not against you. ha ha

I don't know much about the extended universe lore, but even if the emperor reduced the Jedi to nothing but myth and legend, surely Din would know about the Jedi-Mando war. Right? Or has that been lost to history as well.

Well...THAT was an action packed chapter! Not only did they get to go to a new planet, one I think I saw depicted in an episode of the Clone Wars, but Gideon showed up as well. Good for her for cutting off his hand, maybe he'll think twice before he tries to attack a Jedi. And Din was pretty awesome too, helping out while letting her take the lead. Not being all, "no, let me handle this". I thought it was nice that she closed her eyes, even at a critical moment like that. Din appreciated it as well, though you could tell he was resigned to her having seen him. Good thing she used self control.
Very nice banter between them as well.
Sorry it took me so long to read the chapter, I kept staring it and getting stopped right in the middle - someone always wanting me to do something for them. ha ha.

Short chapter but I enjoyed it! And Jedha? I thought that the city snd its vicinity was destroyed by Tarkin during Rogue One, unless you’re thinking about the planet itself. Funny enough, I happened to see a bit of Rogue One on TV earlier today snd remember the half-buried statue in the wastelands. Does that mean there might be a hidden temple like on Lothal?

Oh, I'm really liking Din and Ales' interaction. And I think Din should give her permission to see his memories too, maybe she can help him work though some of his past tragedies...if nothing else it will give her a better understanding of him.
