Oh God, oh God—what can I say?! Heartbreaking and perfect and in character (more so than my rather rosy at times view of them!) and my heart aches for them both. It also makes me wonder how much Mike feels for Liz, especially in comparison to what he obviously felt with Claire in your other series. And it makes me wonder who came first, and what happened, and—well, I’m dying for more! I feel so spoiled with two chapters today and i hope we get another tomorrow!

This was such a beautiful beginning. They are both perfectly in character and Liz’s last lines are heartbreaking. Poor Lennie, poor Liz, poor Claire!
