This was almost viscerally terrifying, the moment she pulled his mask off. If it were Persona 5, this is the exact moment your target gets the calling card and their alert level hits 100% forever.

Also, I'm not surprised amnesia can be caused by hypothermia. Alot of trauma can do that. Not sure why hypothermia specifically, but your body frantically fighting to keep a balanced temperature might lead to something short-circuiting in the brain.

That was a nice playful side to Moonjumper. :) I'm glad Hat Kid can get him to relax and do fun stuff to take his mind off things.

So now that I’ve caught up with the story which it has been great so far now I have a few questions. Based on the way you interpreted this girl especially at the ending of both chapters 4 and 10 and the mysterious singing in 6, I’ve come to really believe this is Hat Adult. If so I wonder what role this is going to play in the story will we see more of her in the future chapters.

Was that Hat Adult?! If it was that’s awesome.

And so Hat Kid completes her first rift in the Horizon. I really liked your worldbuilding as to how she's able to find the Time Rifts, and the effects on the world if they're left unchecked. One thing I wonder, though, is if someone else but her were to get into the Rift... Would they get stuck there until Hat Kid found her way in and shut it? Or even more, since they reflect the memories of those who enter them, what if multiple individuals at a time are in the Rift?

I just got caught up with this story. Very good and engaging writing so far! Which is especially good as this is the first real AHiT fanfic I've read.

This is really good story!

I love the originality and using aspects of the game to create a whole other world. The pacing is great, very well balanced with plenty of details and easing up to the point per chapter - a lot of authors struggle with that.

Love your approach of Moonjumper’s personality, hinting towards what he could be and is while still keeping that mysterious aura around him.

Makes me really wish this was in the game. Chapter 8: The Horizon. Hey Modders! Hop to it! ;)
