Noir-ish worlds are always fun to read as well. That being said, I did not expect for Manny and Frida to be enemies in this world, so nice twist there. I look forward to seeing the next part.

On a side note, oh how I understand the writer's block thing. Happens to me way more than it should. Though I'm sorry there were people pressuring you to update this story, and that there are so many factors that might have soured your experience in this fandom/archive. But like others said, take your time- writers on this site do it for free, so people should be patient.

First, I understand the feeling of writers block and having a life outside of this website of fanfics. I write fanfics for El Tigre too although it has been a while since I've done it because I started focusing on my SVTFOE fic. I can wait for as long as it takes for you to get these updates out; take your time.

Second, Shaeril McBrown is just an annoying person-troll. She hasn't ruined this archive for me because I don't read her stories and I blocked her a long time ago. She has no power of me, you, or anyone else who likes this archive.

And third, I can't believe I was right about it being a Noirverse. This one almost reminds me of my Noirverse a bit. I also like how you made this version of Frida and El Tigre. Looking forward to seeing the next part 2 of this.
