So in this story Six was created in a laboratory? Spartans 3 are supposed to have been orphans recruited by ONI, promising them power and revenge against the Covenant.

Although knowing Ackerson, he would be willing to do anything to defeat Halsey in her own game.

THIS WAS A VERY GOOD HISTORY!

Now that Six is going to live in the 21st century as a civilian, he will need a last name. It would be great if he took the last name Ackerson since James was the closest thing to a father that Six had. Ackerson was for the Spartan III what Halsey was for the Spartans II.

For UNSC guns as NPs, yeah, Spartans still use generic weapons they easily discard. They have some weapons custom made for them like the M6D magnums which were upsized to facilate use by Spartans in MJOLNIR and the M11 Combat Knives made in hyperdense and which have a balde of 365.8 millimeters in length and weighs 2 kilograms (the lenght of the average battleworthy zweihander) (vs the 20 cm long blade in high carbon steel with titaniul coating used by unaugmented soldier). But even Kelly's custom crafted Oathsworn shotguns are easily and often abandonned on the battleground to be remplaced later.

The exception are Jorge's modified machine gun and the custom-crafted SRS99-S5 AM sniper rifle that Linda one day stole and named Nornfang and that she kept and modified and handtuned over the years, notably to synchronize it with her HUD. And I suppose Emile's Kukri.

I'm glad to have read this story from beginning to end, it was definitely a great read to come to these past few months. Honestly I'm looking forward to how things'll play out in your next story!

First of all, this was a great story! As you mentioned, it was not perfect story, but it was something very entertaining to read and it does leave you wanting to know how the story will continue. I also think that you are the first person to ACTUALLY FINISH a crossover between Halo and Fate on this page, that is an achievement that you should be proud of.

I'm not sure how the fact that Six is a counter guard works, I thought Alaya had to make a deal with you to condemn you to be a glorified butler, cleaning humanity's disasters for the rest of the eternity, and I don't know what she could have offered Six.

One concept that you could use for the sequel is that the Spartans are the manifestation of humanity's subconscious desire to return to being the heroes they once were, during the Age of the Gods and the Age of Fairies. wanting to recover their essence they once lost, wanting to improve themselves to return to be the champions that hundreds or thousands of years ago they were, trying to recreate those heroes through technology having lost the mystery long ago.

Proof of that is the fact that the Spartans are the closest thing to the heroes of yesteryear that humanity has had since the Age of Man began.

Halo 2 releases if by my research is right at the earliest on the VERY MONTH the 5th grail war begins with November 9th 2004 being the release of Halo 2 and the grail war starting on the 29th

It was fun to read this. I liked the use of metaphors.

To be honest, my largest complaint is MJOLNIR. Mine of the other servants need large amounts of Prana to simply use armour and weapon noble phantasms. And MJOLNIR shouldn't be that significant a noble phantasm if at all. He only received it along with noble team in 2551. And it's literally just expensive armour not a legendary weapon. Granted expensive for future space age civilisation, but still rather mundane and something exceeded by later generations. Making it a noble phantasm would only make sense if he had a legend to it, such as using armour abilities in an extreme way, or never taking it off.

It just feels thematically off for a suit that's self-sufficient for up to 15 years to only be summoned for minutes at a time. As for weapons, there are Spartan only weapons in the books, and the Spartan laser seems like it should be there. And false assassin didn't have a noble phantasm weapon, but still was summoned with his katana. It feels off so to speak.

Though in the end I can see your reasons.
