Very interesting 1st chapter. A bit somber, but not brooding not has he lost his humanity. A lot of Bloodborne fics rely on the MC as this cold killer. While it's true and is the most likely thing to happen, nothing says that their spirit can't hold on and stay strong.

For the love of God, please don't go the "Beacon" route. There's too many stories out there with this taken idea in mind (usually because people write these Bloodborne crossovers with RWBY on a whim with no great foundation.) What do each of these fanfictions have in mind with this option? They ALL got abandoned and discontinued. You would be setting yourself up for absolute, guaranteed, common failure to execute a good plot. Oh, and do keep in mind that romance pairings will ruin the story too.

How about No Beacon? Too many stories have the inserted character attend Beacon, and most of them are executed poorly. He could just stay outside as a lone hunter, instead, taking odd jobs.
