Such a refreshing story to read; very unique. I thought it was quite funny, and very entertaining, that’s for sure. Thank you for creating this beauty!

Thank you for this story; a great idea beautifully written. The idea of a Phantom-crow was seemed like a good idea and I was waiting like the rest of the characters to see if it would help or backfire with other ghosts. Then you brought this horrible nightmare of Danny being trapped in his effigies instead of sleeping. I like how you bring a bit of plausibility in the connection between a scarecrow's protective purpose and Danny's protective obsession. I also liked how you distinguished between overshadowing and possession. Just when things were tipping over into a true horror story you bring it back around for an ending with hope and sympathy.

This got pretty spooky for a while there. That was a very unique and 10/10 concept and well executed too.

After all the "night terrors" for a lack of a better word the "Phantom - crows" did to Danny, it was only a matter of time till he destroyed them.

Sure, he might feel guilty for a while but ultimately it was all done for the sake if his health and sanity.

This was quite an original story indeed.
