I recently watched BTTF and wondered about finding some good fanfiction, which led me to this gem. And this was so good! You did such a great job diving into Marty and Doc's friendship, especially in the idea of two timelines equaling two versions of memories. Because, yeah, the movies definitely didn't answer questions as to why the future can be changed, but what about a time traveler's memories when they've lived through the changes? I really enjoyed the twist you came up with.

I love the differences between both first meetings between Doc and Marty- both scenarios are what you might expect from the characters. And you handled their characters wonderfully! Great job with this story. :)
