It looked like Iruka-Sensei understood his plight though, because as soon as his name left the lips of his master, Iruka-Sensei raised his brow and repeated, "your dog's name is Neko-Chan?" "Yeah," Kakashi nodded lazily, scratching the back of his head. "So I was thinking, since two of my students are orph-" "You named your dog, Cat?" "...Yeah..." Kakashi repeated, blinking at Iruka-Sensei and Neko-Chan couldn't help his tail from wagging. Finally! Someone understood! "That's horrible! That's like naming you Kuwa! Do you know what Kuwa means?" "It's a gardening tool," Kakashi stated. "But look, I came here to talk about the vestibule coming up and I think-" "Kuwa means hoe! And do you know what hoe sounds like?" "...Yes..." "Then why would you name your dog, Cat!? That's just so mean!" "Uh..." Neko-Chan let out a bark of laughter at his master's distraught look. That would teach him to name things! |
