Rumi would be great. I don't think that Mt. Lady would work all that well being that J'onn has always had a more honorable and virtuous way of life whereas Mt. Lady is more scummy and less genuine in her values and morality. I don't think he would appreciate these qualities in her.

This is really great! I'm so glad to see more attention given to Martian Manhunter. He truly is underrated and very often his fire weaknesss is used against him to take him out of group fights early so that usually Superman ans Wonder Woman can be the ones to do more damage and win. I find this very irritating when he is more powerful than both of them but tossed to the side. Please keep this up!

This could be interesting... I agree that J'onn J'onzz doesn't get the appreciation he's due from DC's powers that be, and you've obviously both a fan and done your homework, such as the TV junkie quality. How far behind are Ore-oops, I mean Choco cookies?

This story also looks like it can spotlight a key difference between the world of MY HERO ACADEMIA and the Western comic tropes that inspires it. It has super-heroes in abundance, but that's it. There's no aliens, visitors from the future, supernatural creatures, crazy weird STAR TREK technology, etc., just super-powered humans whose origins are all tied into an X-Men-ish genetic abnormality rather than unlikely mutation sparked by various experiments or accidents. Having someone pop up ho can say he has powers for reasons different from everyone else would be just as much a culture shock as being from outer space.

I definitely agree that J'onn is an often overlooked character in the DC universe so I am excited to see what you with him in this story.
