Great story speaking as a adopted person Shelby's actions in the show and why you added to your story in my book makes her a piss poor person. What she did to Rachel was so much worse than you had told beth. She arranged for Rachel to find her than rejected her. That would be soul crushing for which the show never really explored. Yet another failing of Ryan Murphy. He is not that smart or talented.

Still so inlove with this version of Q and R! Would love to find them a little later, see what they've been up to.

Just like life, it has so many emotions at different times. I hope Shelby is really ready to be a Mom to both her children and a grandmother. This is like the fourth of fifth time that she hurt so many people - including her brother, who losing his own child, would have loved to have seen his niece grow up. The first mistake was being a surrogate in the first place and the second, that suppose and unreasonable contract.

It was a great story. I loved all the interaction and I still don't trust Shelby. She needs therapy the most of all of them and people don't change over night. A sequel would be great!

Loved this story! Admittedly it was a little hard as my uncle Peter passed last week and his funeral was last night and coincidently my name is Shelby... but I have always loved your writing, would love to see more from this universe.

This was awesome. It was light and funny, but also raw and emotional. You captured the entire spectrum of emotions beautifully. I like Uncle Peter and I'm glad that even though it was strained in the beginning, that Shelby loosen up and came around.

I liked the twist of Rachel being pregnant and the family's reaction to it. It's a place where she and Shelby can bond and she can learn about how hard it was for her Mother to give her up and maybe that's why she closed herself off for so long?

I would love to see some more one shots come from this. Great job and thanks for sharing.
