I LOVE THIS ENTIRE THING. Seriously, I just really love sort of origin-Rinoa before she's a sorceress, before she's got fate-of-the-world moral conflicts versus just wanting to divorce herself of her father's control and become her own person, and if that means standing on the shoulders of Seifer or anyone else, she's willing to take that risk. ALSO I MEAN THIS IS SEINOA HOW COULD I NOT LOVE IT. 3

I really like this - it's a different take on the relationship Rinoa and Seifer had in the past. Rather than the usual 'summer romance', it has purpose and energy. It also gives some back story to how Rinoa ended up in Timber.

But it leaves questions. How did Rinoa become interested in Timber in the first place? Did Seifer get her to Timber? Why didn't he stay?

I love any story that sparks my own imagination. Thank you for sharing!

EEE! I love. This invokes so much detail that I can vividly picture this in my mind. Considering the prompt here was spark, it's very fitting that this microcosm or snapshot of who she is at this time burns so brightly and effectively illustrates the point without extraneous words. The splinter is a nice touch too for just showing how she's trying to deal with pain and can't quite decide if she needs the pain or should fix it. It's a nice lil metaphor.
