And by the way, where were you when I needed fabulous examples of simile for English class back in the day? "And yet you're sweating like a Wookiee in a barber shop!" It's these brilliant little touches that keep your readers thoroughly anchored in a galaxy far, far away.

Why the FUCK am I crying, C-S? WHY

This ... is not a whim fic. I mean, technically I guess it is? But like. There are feelings here, complex feelings. And there's acknowledgement of PTSD and intricate understandings of bodily autonomy and also deep trust. And that may have come to you over the course of one work day but it damn well would take me at least a month to figure those things out. So. Not a whim fic.

You are so talented. You have no idea how much. And I'm so glad you write in this universe because DAMN.

Oh my goodness, this is just so beautifully written. I don’t think I’ve ever read anything so beautiful. You capture Han, Leia and Rieekan perfectly. I love that he went to use his favour and Carlist didn’t accept it. I would love to write something as heartwarming as this one day. What an inspirational piece. Thank you for sharing.
