I want to know something, at the end the kitten story does it have any relation with the father death incident cause I somehow feel they are connected. Please tell me my thinking is irrelevant

I loved this story. There really isn't enough stories in God's pov. I would love to read more. I wanted to see him deal with chloe. Any chance of more or maybe a sequel?

Why literally EVERYONE thinks that Samael is a precious childhood name for Lucifer, that brings out too many emotions and that's why he doesn't like it?!
The name means Poison of God, ffs!
I don't know who named him this, but doesn't it stands to reason that it's not complicated feelings that make him abandon that be, but the fact that he DESPISES that name for it's meaning?! Same like he despises that humans think he is evil, that name too implies he is.
It stands to reason that he loves being called only Lucifer, as it is the name that was given to him for being able to bring Light!
And to prove that it's nothing about complicated feelings - in the very first episode Lucifer states that his name - Lucifer Morningstar - is GOD GIVEN - implying that his Dad is the one who named him Lucifer.
I.e. not even his resentment towards his father influenced his love for the Lucifer name.
Most likely, the name Samael was given to him by someone else in a different way, and the meaning implies it was not kindly meant. No wonder he doesn't like it.

Great story wish it was a longer wonder if there will be a sequel

if you ever get the urge, or have a boring week, or find more inspiration, continuing this story would be great.

How Ella took the news that Azrael is not a ghost
What happened when Maze met God
How Trixie skipped school to find Maze
How Daniel worked up the courage to leave his Church (after cowering in the pews) after two weeks
And finally, how God used Candy Morningstar to "cure" the Devil ...….
