Awww! I agree with Agreste that LB was way too harsh when explaining the situation in her eyes but I’m glad that Fu straightened them out! They’ll make a beautiful couple and will laugh about it one day (gosh that sounded like a buzzfeed quiz)! Thank you for writing this pawsome story and stay Miraculous!

But I do understand Marinette's frustration.
In a way I'm glad Marinette chose to keep who she like to herself for a little longer before she would tell Adrien in the future.
I liked it!

Honestly while I like this story, I feel this is unfairly holding Marinette to a hire standard than others. For example, Fu told Marinette that she had to respect Chat Noir's feelings but, until his eventually apology later in the chapter, Chat never had to respect her own feelings on the matter. Usually dismissing what she says with a wave of his hand or getting pouty.

His lack of respect even got someone akumatized and no one cared.

Then Fu also said that Marinette shouldn't chastise Alya for uploading that picture from Oblivio as it could hurt their relationship. That's just enabling her though. What Alya did was pretty trashy and yet instead of her getting flak, it's again Marinette. Friends are allowed to call each other out for shitty things they do. In fact they should. Marinette could call Alya out in a direct, though nice, way.

this was awesome. I'm so fricking happy with the path you took. there are too many stories out there that don't understand the characters, or go WAY to far (like taking A's miraculous), and I think you've got a pretty good grasp of it

Adrien is a sweetheart without the mask. he tries not to think bad about anyone, and tries even harder to make others feel good around him. he's a doormat, but he means well. with the whole Lila thing, the reason he doesn't want to confront makes sense, because he's sort of right. calling her out won't do anyone any good. she'll lie her way out, and people will be more against Mari than they were before.

as chat, he's a lot more free to be himself, but he over does it. the real Adrien is a mixture between the two, but because he grew up watching Disney and anime and is super sheltered, he still had a ways to go with figuring out how to properly act. a lot of people have LB blowing up at him in stories, but he's honestly gotten better. he's a stupendous listener, and helps keep her grounded while she helps keep him grounded as well. they're perfect yin-yang. but they also have issues to work through, as any friendship does. he does get kind of an "I'm a nice guy" mentality at times, but he's always quick to fix his 'tude and push aside everything else, which is a sign of him maturing.

Marinette is a sweetheart too. she tries her best on everything, and is always helping others. the only time she loses her confidence is when around Adrien, because she doesn't know how to act, and the few times LB messes up bad. she generally has a really good self-confidence, and it's obvious how much it's grown in the last year.

LB isn't cruel. she rejects chat's advances because she doesn't like him like that, but she still loves him as a friend. the only reason she's ever stated not wanting to reveal identities is to keep each other and their loved ones safe, so idk where people got "she's insecure" from. her and chat work wonderfully together, and she does try to be considerate of his feelings. she does have her moments, but she's human.

all in all, you did a wonderful job portraying the characters as they actually are, and I'm so glad you had LB get him to listen AND them not get together right away. it's definitely close to how I'm sure the show will go in terms of how they'll react, and I can't wait to read more of your stuff! good job! (sorry this review is, like, hours after I followed. i couldn't stop thinking, and now we're here, lmao)

They still didn't resolve the issue, it got worse.

Adrien apologized for his flirting because he thought that Marinette loved a guy who was not him and never thought that he could be that guy because in previous episodes of the show she lied to him stating that she was not romantically interested on him.

The problem is not that Marinette didn't tell that she loves him, it's that she lied about her feelings.

I love this one-shot, and actually might want to see a bit more. Like, what happens at school now? Will Marinette still be clumsy around Adrien?

Anyway, you're very talented with words and I hope you keep writing because I'd LOVE to see some more of your work. :)

Ladybrat knows more than Kitty about honestly EVERY DAMN THING! As he is kept in the dark unnecessarily & unwillingly, trusting HER JUDGEMENT BLINDLY!

Being forced into situations he's not comfortable with you?! How dare you Loserbug! You have no damn clue, how Cat Noir truly feels do you blasted bug?! You never let him in, he's RIGHT! Forget love interest, you never let him get to know you as a FRIEND!

Master Fu beautiful work having Wayzz to get Cattastic Kitty Cat Noir! Well they have to fix things & hopefully they will. Adrien deserves hiss long awaited happiness rightly me-owre than anything. Cat Noir has always had a soft spot fur hiss Purrincess Marinette.

Now all said Pompous Purrincess needs to do is understand her OBSESSION over "her" prince Charming is the Cattastic knight she stupidly, wrongly, annoyingly pushed aside at furist believing the Cattastic knight's feelings weren't genuine nor true... THEY COM-PAW-LETELY ARE DEEP, REAL & PURE! HA HA! So Dupain-Cheng... how idiotic do feel now you INSUFFERABLE INSECT!

All in all I very much enjoyed this one-shot. If it turns into more down the line that would be beautiful even more so. Thank you for publishing this. Keep being Miraculous GreenPaw! (Sweet Smile) This definitely deserves more recommendations to read, review & enjoy. ;)

Astruc really needs to put this in to the show! I mean three seasons and still both of them are chasing each others tails? (Nevertheless, it does make the show interesting...) Anyways, this was supuuuurb! Loved it... :)
