Great chapter! I'm waiting for the next one. Doom is not much of a romantic type, it has been shown a few times, but is it possible maybe in this world? I really want to see a place that he is happy, the maximum threat of this universe is a multiversal being that Doom himself has the capacity and intellect to defeat. It's not a Marvel-like world where he has to worry about heroes and villains, or insanely powerful beings trying to destroy the world! That would be interesting from my point of view!

You mentioned Raphtalia being in both Shieldfreeden and Ryute Village. Is this a mistake on your part, or did Doom give Raphtalia the honor of having her own personal Doombot?

You had me up to this chapter. In a response to a review you said you didn't want to just make a Shield Hero with a new coat of paint, but that's exactly what you're doing.

There is no reason for him to go back to the slaver to look for new party members other than you wanting the damned loli bird in the story. Even if we look at it in a way where he wants/needs new party members (which I don't believe he does with his bots), he has a whole damned country at his beck and call. He can just call up a bunch of lads and take his pick. Wasn't the whole point of taking over a country to make an army?

Even with everything else, you force the things that happened in the original to happen here for no reason. It just got too frustrating for me to continue.

Also, as other possible defensives options included within the High Tech shield design, besides to the force field generator, could be also a personal energy shield and a legendary weapon repellent function.

The personal energy shield could be similar to the energy shield system of the MJOLNIR armors of Halo franchise, in the sense of this works like a little, flexible and stretched force field around of the body of the user, and like the energy shield of Halo, this increasess the defense of the user and even makes him inmune to some kind of attacks. But like the energy shield of halo, this can eventually be wear off by constant damage and would needs to some time to recharges itself. Perhaps in the case of the possible energy shield of Dr Doom, only cost a little amount SP when it recharges itself, but while he has the energy shield actives and intact, this wouldn't costs any SP energy at all to keep it.

Regarding the Legendary weapon repellent function, i was thinking that if Dr Doom studied the Legendary shield, he maybe managed to finds the kind of energy that powers the Legendary weapons, and as was revealed that the Legendary weapons repelled themselves, maybe this means that this kind of energy could works like the magnetic poles of the same kind of charge, meaning that like the magnetic poles, the similar charges repels themselves. And maybe if Doom finds and analyzed this kind of energy, he can installs in the high tech shield a special generator of this kind of energy, that allows to the shield generates a special field charged with this kind of energy, but in a more concentrated form, and this allows repels the other legendary weapons from Doom, literally, making now useless to Ren and Motoyasu could gets near to attacks Doom with their sword and spear, and in the case of Itsuki, as the arrows are part of the bow, maybe his arrows would be also repelled by the Legendary weapon repellent function, making that this function makes Doom inmune to the other legendary heroes themselves, like a security measure in case that the others heroes became too powerful eventually.

One point that i was thinking regarding the legendary shield of Doom, considering the possibility that Doom analyzed and studied it, i wonder if he would uses his genius to crafts and creates several alloys and materials to feeds to his shield and unlocks several useful series, as Dr Doom already commented that he needs finds a usefulness to this shield.

And if he experiments with this, i vote that maybe Dr Doom uses his knownledge and makes some piece of adamantium, and feeds this to his shield and unlocks the adamantium series, that could gives him a very high defense, to the point of be practically invulnerable, after all the legendary shield is part of Dr Doom himself, and every power that has the shield would be transfered completely to the person of Dr Doom, meaning that the Adamantium series could makes Doom like he has an adamantium armor.

And also, maybe if Dr Doom discovers that his legendary shield can copy the design of others shields, i vote that Doom would crafts some high tech shield with integrated weapons, like blades, concussion blasts, lighting, energy directed weapons, ballistic guns, mini missiles and even a force field generator within the shield, to makes that to copy this high tech shield, the legendary shield gets some designed copied that gives Dr Doom a lot bonus of stats, especially in attacks with the shield, and even gives the legendary shields several offensive attacks options that could complements the combat capabilities of Dr Doom.

Maybe I am judging this way too early. My apologies. I read some fanfics with a good start but a bad end. I'm just afraid this fanfic might turn him into bad-written godlike curbstomp not well-written godlike curbstomp.

I understand your point Guest, about Riyute, as maybe even if this village would belongs to Doom eventually, i was surprised to see how much quick he got it, especially when the queen is still out from the country. And maybe in certain way, is logical your point about that the sudden action of the queen of surrenders this territory easily and without some legal process, could makes looks the royal family of Melromarc weaks to the eyes of their people, and even that they are a puppet government from the monarchy of Silvelt, making them their lapdogs and a target to be overthrowed. But i hope to see if the queen has a hidden ace to control the situation and pleases to Doom to the same time.

But regarding to your other point about that Doom is put as a character too perfect or godlike, i disagreed, because remembers that Dr Doom is basically as the Lex Luthor of Marvel, but more powerful, meaning that Doom is a character that plans and analyzes very carefully all his actions and even foresaw several situations beforehand, for a good reason the fantastic fours and the avengers considers Dr Doom as one of their most deadliest enemies. Then, if someone like Doom is too much dangerous and intelligent in the world of Marvel, a world with meta-humans, gifted scientists, magic beings, and cosmic entities, in the world of Rising of the shield hero, that is a world with medieval level of technology, and some magic, Doom could be almost like a god in this world, with his gifted intelligence, powers and massive general knownledge, making logical that Doom can gets a lot power here, and even to the point that the other monarchs fears him.
