I liked how you developed Mai and Naru's relationship, and that Mai doesn't completely gets over her trust issues right off the bat. Thank you for sharing this lovely fic!

Aww, I love how Mai and Naru are still friends and that they’re going to take baby steps to building up their relationship again. It’s perfect because Mai isn’t completely over her trust issues. So, that’s something she still needs to work on before rushing back into a relationship with Naru. So, I’m really happy with how things turned out here. Since, this gives us all a little ray of hope for the future :)

Amazing as always! I’m so glad that Mai went and at least talked to him. That little slip where Mai almost said she still loved him was adorable. I also love that Gene told Mai how happy Naru is. All the feels. The two of them sneaking away and making Lin angry is hilarious. Loved every bit of it.
