you know he could have said he didn't use his quirk he technically didnt he only used a pipe pure blunt melee like anyone would believe he used magic to cause a concussion or his quirk is to live his life as a game character
also what he did was perfectly legal not vigilante-ism he saw a crime (robbery assault about to escalate into rape possible murder or kidnapping possible slavery) he didn't attack them right away or before the crime was committed he asked them to stop leave the women alone they threatened murder and rape so premeditated and attack him first and the women justified self defense nor did he use lethal force a broken knee cap and a concussion isnt lethal which he was justified to do against such a threat to their lifes anyway so perfectly legal the most be could get charged with is assault or battery idr
but sadly bnha seemingly ignores old laws if quirks are involved or if they do still exist expect you to not know them so people dont try and do it
