WOW! I am impressed. You captured each character so well. I am writing a Talespin story of my own atm and you have made me take a look at my dialogue from a new perspective. The little details about how they talk and communicate made me feel like I was actually reading what could have been a legit episode on the show, Absolutely impressive. Does this take place after the series or in the middle of it? I noticed that there was mention of the episode in which Kit helps Baloo graduate, but idk how far after that it is.

I'm pretty sure I've said this of your other TS stories, but you capture. Every. Single. Character. Perfectly!

The ups and downs of this story kept me up waaay too late reading all of it in one go :). The tension of not knowing what Kit was in trouble for; the emotional slap in the face when you do find out; the sudden change of pace into an enemy airship and their HILarious argument slash fight scene; and all followed up with a simple ending of beautiful bonding.

BTW, I actually bu(r)sted out laughing with that little running gag!

What a wonderful bonding story for Baloo and Kit - aw, that dust is spreading 'cause I'm getting allergies over here myself. The emotion and fear of life's inevitable changes was very, very relatable. I felt bad for ol' Papa Bear... buuut I'm not taking off my "K&K forever" badge anytime soon. ;) Right from the start I could tell Kit was really gonna shine in this one, you captured him so well! That line about the 'untamed spirit' made me crack a grin. You really excel at writing these characters and keeping them very true to form but I know I've said *that* before. The tension between Baloo and Kit was also great - that fight scene, whew! Talk about blowin' off steam. Those poor Houns. XD

As I've come to expect from your fan fics everything was very vivid and detailed in description, which really helps in bringing the story to life like an actual episode complete with animated mental images and voices - I could even hear the Houns' accents loud and clear. Gotta say I nearly choked on my drink when reading the "Fokker" bit, hahaha! Boy, that scene is gonna inspire something scribbly-sketchy somewhere down the road I just know it. I had a feeling the message of "a thousand words" might have some link to Kit's drawings... and aw, that scene hit me right in the feels! Thank you so much for another riveting adventure full of heart. Bravo!
