Honestly this is probably the best cautionary tale about messing with your own inspiration that I have ever seen. At the end of chapter 40 the lack of updates instantly made sense. I think you made a pretty dreadful mistake with killing off Yara.

It wasn't that I think it was bad in the context of the story. Her death had impact, it was fairly well placed, and it made sense. In a story sense it was fine. It wasn't inspirationally a good call though.

When you write a story, especially as a newer writer, you're almost always better off going where your inspiration takes you. In this case it was pulling you toward changing your story for Yara and... You likely should have done so. Killing her off forced you into writing something I don't think you really wanted to write right now and the result is, well, this. Your muse was telling you it wanted to do something and ignoring it ends well so rarely. I'm speaking from experience with that.

It was a pretty fascinating read. I enjoyed the changes and events that happened. I enjoyed how you wrote. It's a shame his is likely dead.

This is a nice crack that I have read... Almost all characters are OOCs, except arya, sansa, davos. Jon, yara, dany are definitely OOC. But its good, I just mentioned my observations. Take care IRL and keep writing.

Just finished all chapters. Fantastic Part 1. I was disappointed in
Jon’s relationship with Yara though it was fun to read, i ship Jon with Dany. But it added great character development to the story. I see you been missing since August...please tell me there are plans to continue?

Honestly. That was too rushed for Arya in my opinion. She not someone who rushes without a plan. Not now at any rate after her time in the House of Black and White.

Cannons? Why are there cannons all of a sudden when there is no gunpowder?

Dark Sister makes more sense because Blackfyre is in the hands of the Golden Company.

Yeah I think her death was wise, although a tragedy. I also dont know about the whole Jon and fathering bastards thing. It's like a huge part of his character. Maybe he would have been okay with Yara since she would have married him. Buy Alys? I dont think so. I was also under the assumption that this fic be centered on Jon and Dany...;) Jonerys :). Kind of felt like a Yara takeover, so kudos for making the right decision. Although it still sucks because she was super awesome. Great work, look forward to the aftermath. And Jon going semi mad.

Hot damn that was fun! Gotta say, Yara dying was a nice touch, but kinda predictable. I'm hoping you write that Jon/Yara fix you mentioned in a AN a while ago (I think I remember you saying that?). If you ever do it would be such a fun fix.

Anyway nice chapter, and please do take your time writing them.

Oh come on. Really?! If this story wasn’t so good, I would stop reading it. Yara was the best. Hell, I’d prefer Jon stay with Cersei more than Daenerys. Have him marry Cersei and Alys.

And with that, I demand another story with Jon and Yara. I’m joking, but seriously, I want it.

I hate you so much right now. This has got to be one of my favorite stories. And reading the last few chapters with Jon and Yara really made me hope for the best. This chapter looked like it would happen but then the ending of it happens instead. Looking forward to the next chapter and seeing what happens next.

I’m a little confuse here, I found this story because I was looking for a Jon/Dany story, even your summary says “focus on Jon and Dany”, but so far this have been a Jon/Yara story. I like Yara, she is an ok character, not my favourite, but good, the thing is that it had been 31 chapters and Jon hasn’t spear one thought to Dany, is this story going to be like this? Jon/Yara whit Dany just to be around?
If that the case it’s ok, it’s your story at the end of the day and you can do whatever you want, but you should change your characters then, if it’s not, well, I think y can endure a little more about Yara, because I like your story line, it’s just that for the way you put it since the beginning, I really was expecting the story was “focus on Jon and Dany”.
