I love so many things about this story. Your slow burn game is epic - there is nothing I love more than a slow burn. Except maybe hugs, and you put plenty of those in here, too. So. Good. *shivers* I like the way you wrote Jacqueline’s vulnerability in this one. It felt honest and real. Everyone would naturally assume she would be the alpha/rock in a relationship, especially with someone younger. While she did take the lead many times as the relationship developed, it was so important that you had her be able to lean on and take comfort from Jane. You created an honest friendship between these two women, which made it more believable when it transitioned into a fully loving relationship. Very, very well done and so very enjoyable to read.
