25 chapters later and they finally use first names. Really is a sign that they are getting closer as a group even if Sawyer is doubting his closeness with them. The more I read of Monika being a troll to Sawyer, the more I like her. 25 chapters later and im wanting more of Monika being like that. Looking forward to the next one.

Found this fic now and read it all in a few hours. This is very well written and keeps me engaged. You're definitely capturing the tone of the game and the way the characters are written is in line with their game counterparts. Monika though has quite a bit of sass that is honestly really fitting for her, makes her feel much more real. The thing that intrigues me quite a bit is the fact the original player character exists in this world, probably went through some variation of the games' events but left before anything of major consequence happened. Sawyer is now taking his place but, from my interpretation at least, is in the back/fore front of the girls minds constantly being compared to the original character. Natsuki is more aggravated with Sawyer with her projecting some resentment from MC onto him, Sayori lost her best friend and has become very attached to the point of relying on Sawyer for food as he is MC's replacement in her eye, Yuri had unrequited feelings for MC that have surged back and kicked into overdrive with Sawyer's introduction and then Monika while also having unrequited feelings still yearns for MC and relentlessly teases Sawyer as an outlet for those feelings. Sawyer himself has all the dokis' demons hanging over his shoulder whether directly or indirectly, helping him relate to each of them in ways MC could not.

Sorry for the ramble, just felt like i had to unpack everything after reading 22 chapters in one day. Looking forward to the next chapter. Keep up the good work
