With many possible options, this is my favorite fic you have ever written. It's so true to their relationship and to that kind of emotion: what's needed and what's not, what works and what doesn't, how people so close to each other can process things differently. And so true to Sam and all the blows he has been dealt and often doesn't get the opportunity to truly get through. He has to suck it up and keep going. I'm so glad the show demonstrated this for us-and glad to have this fic to support it and the boys and serve as a touchstone for when real life troubles get us down.

Aww. Just. This is so sad and so sweet. And yeah, will never get tired of platonic bed-sharing and needing the companionship of a loved one, not needing anything from them in particular, just, having them be there - and that it doesn't fix everything, but it helps (and with their lives they need all the help they can get!)
