Great story! I'm glad that you "corrected" that foolish statement from Dean that six weeks in solitary was worse than breaking in Hell. C'mon writers, really?
The boys need to be close after that time makes a lot of sense after all the years of living in each others' pockets. Enjoyed the conversation about mundane things like Denny's, showers. But Dean's admission of how he felt about taking Death's offer to send him off planet with the Mark was chilling. And that last line was a killer - pun intended. Thanks for sharing this with us. Great story: I wish we could have seen this sort of resolution in cannon. That last sentence: “Dean’s had.” Just killed me.

This was the conversation we all wanted. Them admitting that they were lying about it being worse than Hell, yes THANK YOU...that needed fixing. And "greater love"...the Winchesters do redefine that, all the time...

You're right with how ironic the end is...Michael and Dean's situation plus Dean had a meeting with Death/Billie in season 14.

Good job with this story because the situation when brothers want to sleep in the same room after being alone in cell in the solitary it sounds so real and totally understandable. When I watched this episode I thought a lot how hard it was for them to not see each other for a that long time. In season 2 when they were in a prison they could see and talk ti each other at least. And in the other hand that solitary for Dean wasn't that bad than being in Hell or thoughts about "life" after taking Death's deal in season 10 finale. These 2 things are much worse comparing to solitary.
