DayStorm chapter 4 . 2/24/2019
shivers

God. I'd completely forgotten about the spiders. I am NOT afraid of spiders but just the idea of these sharp-legged spiders walking on your while you're sleeping. So that's what Parker's doing tonight. Nightmares lol

Dimly lit hall. Humming from her dreams, twitchy and paranoid. So quiet. Alone but not quite as alone as she would have liked to be, the feeling of eyes watching from the shadows. She could not BE more vulnerable. At least she has her brother. But still.

Bad.

Night.

I like how this chapter is cut up. They know something's going on and it's starting to really take it's toll on all of them; you're demonstrating each one. Like knocking pegs off a wall. Parker's been attacked. Progue's defensive and angry, frustrated. Tina's the obvious perpetrator but she didn't do it.

Reid's already been cleared. Wasn't him either.

Carrie and Caleb are driven. They've also been attacked, having had a Darkling sent like a grisly warning.

Someone is playing a dangerous game; and now the twins' are aware of it.
DayStorm chapter 3 . 2/24/2019
At work, on break, so this review might be a little shorter than most . . . but . . . I have to say it. ANOTHER great chapter. Especially that opening. I could see it so clearly, that exact scene, with Caleb speeding down the highway to town. The memory of that OMG ghastly thing in the car with them.

I can't shake the feeling that thing might have been there the whole time, invisible in the backseat.

Also scary. Scary sentence: "If Reid is stupid enough to do that and risk Rayna's life then maybe he should be put down . . ."

Holy Mushrooms. Random. You . . . she . . . she . . . Carrie's talking MURDER here. OhhOhhhh! my gawd.

haha OKAY. Carrie getting back at the guys by making their pants fall in a bar full of people CRACKED ME UP lol THAT. THAT. They deserved it :PPP
R.J.-2394 chapter 3 . 2/19/2019
Wow! I really love this. When you update a chapter I really just wanna drop what I'm doing, I can't wait to read the next one
DayStorm chapter 2 . 2/18/2019
Ohhhh Parker and Chase, sitting in a tree, K-I-S . . . no. Too childish? hehe Okay, but I foresee something happening there. :P If you were trying to drop a DISCRETE hint, you kinda failed.

On a more serious note, I feel Carrie needing backup to face a possibly inebriated mother. Can you image trying to sneak into the house, quiet as you can, heart pounding? Hoping your drunk mom has fallen asleep . . . that she's not waiting up for you . . .

I love that closing sentence: "I'll be damned if this generation isn't better than all the ones before."

Shiver inducing. I love this twist you've created for your story, the twins, that wasn't in the movie. That they could kill their sibling for their power. O.O
DayStorm chapter 1 . 2/18/2019
Okay, one . . . I can't believe I'm your first reviewer.

Two? BRITT ROBERTSON! lol Sorry. Had to :P I lovvvveeee that we're sharing a faceclaim. hehe

That opening scene, tho. I can see it so clearly; so beautifully. I love The Covenant, and sometimes wish it wasn't a movie but a tv series instead because a 2-hour movie doesn't really do the story justice. They had to compact something that could have been so much more.

A complex, multi-layered story.

And now YOU'RE writing a fic for it. I sorta-kinda want to hug you. Ohhhhh I can't WAIT to see what you have planned!

Already LO-VE Tina. "Way to stick the landing, Caleb. Just keep in mind, it's hell on the knees." haha "That was pretty impressive back there. Just the right amount of caveman ..."

Dude.

Tina. Is. My. Hero.

:P
