I'm sorry for your loss.
this story was far to brief in my opinion. i would have liked to see all of those events play out in an extended story.

an interesting divergence from your usually more grey or noir characters. this one with a more stereotypical hero goal tempered by the gritty realism of his recognition of the very real hurdles and the sometimes necessity of dirty hands should be particularly captivating.

heat exchange?! What highschool level chemistry course has reaction equations that involve heat exchange. electron exchange sure but heat exchange wtf.
