The Raddus didn't destroy the Supremacy by being in hyperspace. It destroyed it by making a jump to hyperspace where the hyperspace entry point would be inside the Supremacy. Ships accelerate super fast when they go to hyperspace. And the shield thing - shields definitely don't block hyperspace. And to jump inside the shield would require overriding the ship's navcomp, which would force the ship out of hyperspace when it got too close to a gravity well. Theoretically (fictionally speaking), if you knew the size, mass, and gravity of a planet, you could reprogram it to drop you out of hyperspace in-atmosphere. But you would almost certainly hit the surface regardless. It's also possible that hyperdrives can be set to go slower than their max speed. If so, you could set the hyperdrive to the lowest speed outside the system (or drop out and re-jump) or use the backup hyperdrive. That would probably work. As to your notes, shields would have protected them against smaller objects like that, and the Raddus was a much larger ship. The Falcon had to get out of the asteroid field because asteroids are big enough to have small gravity wells.
