This was fantastic, so glad you got sidetracked.

Loved this! Smoldering but with that vulnerability, and it ended so sweetly and with promise. I liked how they morphed do quickly from lust to love-falling - well, consciously, that is, because it was there all along. I really liked Castle’s thoughts in the first chapter about how he’d been falling for her since he saw the sadness and pain in her eyes when she confided the deatails of her mother’s murder and her father’s alcoholism. I think that’s quite true to canon. And I liked how Kate began admitting to herself that she had started falling for him, too, beginning with the way he lived parenting Alexis and the way he could make her smile.

fantastic! WTBB is one of my favorite Castle episodes, and this is how I'd always hoped it ended. Thanks for the great Valentine's Day gift. I can't wait for what you write next.

Oh, yeah. If only. They could’ve made the series so much better if they let them get together early and then dealt with all the conflict that would’ve followed. Fabulous story. I hope your write some more in this universe. I’m still here, still reading, but I don’t have as much time to spend on fanfic as I used to.
