The ending does leave one question unanswered. By pilfering the time-turner 70-something years in the past, isn’t it possible that they inadvertently altered some part of what happened in the original timeline?

I don't usually enjoy time jumps to Regency-era etc as it often feels forced to me and unnatural but I really liked this as it was well-written. It felt very believable and not like it relied too heavily on the Pride and Prejudice links to give it a story. The story itself was lovely.
