After reading, for chapter 8, I would vote for Weiss and Neptune, sorry Sun, though if you were a girl, based on your male counter, since you don’t care for your upper body being exposed, it would either be Sun having her (because of being genderbent) breast out in the open, or with a bandage wrap over it to bind it so it doesn’t jiggle as much and get in the way of combat (pick up line for sun if you do go with him even though he isn’t my vote: are a peel because you’re all over my big banana). Pick up line for Neptune, are you a warrior mermaid, because you just speared my heart out with your trident (nickname: warrior mermaid). Pickup line for Weiss, are you noble, because you are an edelweiss (nickname:noble flower angel, noble flower angel in the snow, or the classic nickname he came up for her, snow angel).

My favourite part was the Roman-Cinder interaction, whilst everything was par for the course this is still exploring the multiple facets of probably the best character. The exploration of casual Tyrian was also an enjoyable thing, and of jovial Hazel.

Er, the nicknames could do a little work-for casual non-pompous talk-because pomp would get a bit tiresome for anyone, and whilst 'my queen' would be at the start, I feel like a more natural nickname would form-remember, a good relationship is founded on a good friendship, so even a little *playful* banter is to be expected. For instance, I'd probably wind up calling Salem 'Inky' due to the prevalence of black in her color scheme and her hairstyle, which evokes feelings of squid. 'My monster' is certainly not a pleasant thing to hear from your friend, let alone your lover, and besides that it doesn't seem natural or entirely relevant. To call someone a monster is more comparing them to an attack dog, to a zombie, or to a gargoyle, than it is to say a vampire, a succubus, or a nymph. It implies a lack of hygiene, of high-level intellect and sapience, of self-control, and of beauty really. Since Cinder's kind of nothing except for the gimmicks of fire, seduction, and middle management. I'd naturally veer towards 'Cindy', but a small joke about her tendency to burn things with names such as 'my little pyro/pyromaniac' or 'my twisted fire starter' for a musical reference.

As for the pick-up lines, I get that they're meant to be corny but frankly they're really crass and would be better placed further into relationships. You know, when they can ignore that first instinct to kick whoever said that in the balls, and the second instinct to run away from that creep.
