I noted your last comment about being a fan of FF where the OC isn't changing much of the plot, sigh what a shame. I’m still here though. It’s not too bad.

The flashback was good. But seeing his attitude on the beginning episodes, I wouldn’t peg him as a person that openly admits things.
For example: "I don't know why you think it's strange. You look beautiful to me. Better than these annoying humans would ever be."
I feel like the structure would be: “I don’t know why you’d think it’s strange...” he trailed, “You look beautiful to me. Better than these annoying humans would ever be." And he’d grumble those last two lines while looking away as she blushes.
And how he knows the meaning to the flower but tries to play it off as only because the flower blooms in cold weather. That’s just me, I haven’t gotten more of a feel of his character because I’m on episode nine.
It’s true, you need a beta lol. I was going to mention some weird sentence structure you’ve had.

This chapter sounded good. She has some added personality and lines.

This chapter just felt like a copy paste on the episode with her saying a few sentence. I’d hope it had a little more world/people interaction in between that creates more depth in between the actual anime scenes.

Soooo, I’m a sucker for romance. So my one comment so far is how flat their relationship sounds in the flashback. But other than that, it was enjoyable to read.

This is a good chapter, especially I like how Amarylis and Treyni know each other especially being good friends! I know that they will meet the son of Lizardmen Chief which will gave me some headache, I'm curious if Amarylis will do anything to that guy?
