The writing just feels so bland for a lack of a better word. And what's up with the pacing? Robb arrives, Jon dies, they grab jon, wildlings arrive, Jon is resurrected, and then this little spat on the end. With how things are written, it feels like all the events occurred within a half hour to an hour, not several hours to days within one another.

I like the ideas and i'd gladly see this fleshed out, but not like this.
It's so incredibly rushed to the point this felt more like a summary, often skipping anything except surface thoughts, and descriptions.
Hell, the unknown redheaded woman was Ygritte i assume? We didn't even get to see how Jon's death impacted her, his lover of all people.

Sorry if i come off as a dick but the idea behind the story really really appealed to me so i was a bit disappointed.

still an interesting read, but if Rickon is going to be the Warden of the North, what exactly is the powerbase of Robb and Jon (and their descendants) going to be? it's just not smart to have vassals stronger than you are.

… That all moved way too quickly. You do know that it took a whole night and probably the morning for Thorne to assume command. Then it took a day for the Wildlings to come and rescue them and another night to resurrect Jon.

It was a great story idea and I somewhat tentatively bought how Robb survived but the lack of pacing killed it for me I'm afraid. Game of Thrones is no quick story. Events happen over days, weeks and years not minutes.

Nevertheless a good plot idea and the writing wasn't terrible.

My favorite part of this chapter was when Brienne heard the howl when the Knights of the Winterguard paid their respects to the fallen. That was beautifully written and very thoughtful. Rickon's memory was well preserved in this chapter. Ygritte annoys me immensely. I'm happy for Sansa and Tyrion. I'm ecstatic over the birth of Robb's child. It's nice to see Bran happy too. As for Arya, I find it hard to believe that she would drink anything Ashara handed her. I also have difficulty believing that Arya wouldn't have detected the poison. She's a skilled assassin. I hope Arya and the child survive. Please tell me that Gendry gets his head out of his ass. I love him, but he's pissing me off. I can't wait for the sequel.

I feel bad for Ashara, she's a victim.
