I'll be the first to admit I know NOTHING about Star Trek, but I didn't need to in order to thoroughly enjoy this story! I love the detail you put into your stories, and I always love your Draco and Hermione. And the computer? I thoroughly enjoyed this story, even if parts of it were a bit... melancholic? The overall tone is happy, and I felt the compromise worked in the end.

This was the perfect fic to read on a rainy, angsty Saturday night. It had all my favorite components : my favorite couple, sadness due to a breakup, an intense love, a beautiful story and SCIENCE FICTION! You did an amazing job with this one and I really hope you foray more into the sci fi genre with more of your fics because this was a delightful mixture of science and magic.

Ch 4
A happy ending for Dramione, but a bittersweet one for James and Carol (Jamrol?). I wonder though, in this AU, did disaster strike the Enterprise as it was passing by Jupiter from their mission on Deneva Prime? Or did Carol and James just happen to be on the same ship years (decades) after they broke up when disaster struck? If you’re leaving that up for the reader to decide, then this reader prefers to imagine that it was the latter, because then it means that Carol eventually gave birth to David and experienced the highs and lows motherhood.

Ch 3
DM is a selfish. He doesn’t want to face a reprimand from Starfleet Command for fraternizing with a fellow officer, yet he pulled strings to keep her tethered to his ship supposedly because “I only wanted to see you continue doing what you loved. And I thought you could do great things here.”

Am relieved the baby seems to be doing okay. (At least that is my assumption since there was no mention to the contrary.)

Ch 2
Is Hermione dreaming or did she and Draco get transported (for the lack of a better term) to the parallel dimension the two brains came from?

Also, I hope nothing bad happens to the unborn baby. A plague-ridden colony doesn’t sound like a good place to be at for any pregnant woman.

Ch 1
So let me see if I understand this correctly... In this AU, the British Ministry of Magic’s Department of Mysteries basically conducts scientific research into, among other things, brain functions (within the Brain Chamber) and astronomy (conducted in the Space Chamber)? Interesting... :)

I know nothing about star trek, and I typically don't read the summary before stories, cause I want everything to be a surprise. So I'm sure you can understand my confusion half way through the second chapter. I had no idea what was going on and I had to go back up to the summary, where I found that it was a crossover. I've not read many of them, and the ones i have were twilight/ harry Potter. But damn, this was great! I thoroughly enjoyed this story and would sooo read another, so long as you continue to include your notes explaining ST stuff, cause I know nothing! Lol! Thank you for this great, cute read.

Whooo! Hermione wins the biting dialogue competition, for sure. There’s something really satisfying about how devastating her statements are. Good plan, well executed... it’s almost more satisfying when it’s a bit unfair and she seems to know it.

Oh man, I cried when the brains died! That totally was reminding me of Star Trek and of Kirk's failed love and resulting son. But, Kirk never came off as nice as that.
