Foolish, foolish woman, she gave Sarah the words (sorta) to wish Toby away. Also no matter how this goes she should feel horribly guilty for trying to send Sarah away.

Ooooooh! Sarah cheated Jareth of her step mother's inherited debt. What an intriguing start, I'm so glad the next few chapters are already up even if I'm sad I didn't find this sooner.

Eh rather disappointed in the ending here. What happened to "you have no power over me"? Didn't Sarah invalidate the compact by solving the Labyrinth?

Oh wow this was brilliant. Your characterisation of Irene is so good (also it's great to see a story where she's actually called Irene? I see so many where she's names Karen and I have no idea where that comes from?).
It would be Interesting seeing what happens after from Irene's point of view (e.g Sarah randomly reappearing in their life, if Toby has an 'imaginary friend', if Robert remembers Sarah or not...etc...) but even without all that this is amazing and definitely one of my new top Labyrinth fanfictions.

I really loved this story. I liked Irene's conflict, and appreciated that it was more than just 'evil stepmother wants to get rid of stepdaughter.' I almost want a follow up to know what's going to happen to Sarah, but I also like that it's left up to the imagination.

All in all, great story.

Incredible conclusion. Irene's fear and conflict are palpable and it's ultimately terrifying for both her and Sarah. Brilliant. I wish, or not I wonder how things pan out for Sarah, and if magic masks Sarah's existence, perhaps for all but her stepmother.

Wow! This is a phenomenally good story! Irene's manipulations throughout the years, her own history - all seamlessly, epically blended into the Labyrinthian canon. It adds entirely new dynamics to this beloved tale. Thank you.
