Grindelwald's character and manner of speech comes through very clearly. It's like this story oozes the essence of Grindelwald in a very realistic fashion. It's gorgeous. Albus is definitely in character too. Especially during the scene where he says that he doubts himself and cannot trust himself.

You put the "we are closer than brothers" line from the movie in here! :D I love that so much. And I love the line that follows, saying that they'll always return to each other.

*hugs the author* I love this and I love Grindeldore so much. You have just made my day. The ending is beautiful too. Just the right amount of hesitation before he takes Grindelwald's hand omg I think I'm melting over here. 💜

i really liked this! it seemed to fit canon perfectly and i can reslly imagine this happening. i also love the emotions you conveyed through this. the descriptions were excellent and i visualized the whole thing . the grammar is also great. you write extremely well and i can't wait to read more. great job :)

Nice story. I'm not sure if or where this would fit in the canon timeline, but it does seem to fit what we know of a young Albus and Gellert extraordinarily well.
