So I want to say that this is very good, ma’am. I don’t see why you don’t think it is? It’s in character and it’s very soft and simple. I like that. It is interesting to ponder what it would’ve been like to have Beth show up while Daryl was still at his camp with Dog (who I know Beth would’ve loved very much and that damn dog would’ve loved her) and I like your take on it. It’s not dark. It’s got a touch of sad but a nice warmth to it between them and I think that’s very sweet. I like this piece. Sometimes the simple pieces are the best. Plus you write so much Bethyl that it’s understandable for the muse to wane... Maybe writing something that’s an old idea or even doing a fun crossover would help? Or even an overdone AU? Can never have too many teacher/parent stories or coffe shop AUs lol. You’re doing great, Ms. K. Don’t knock yourself so hard! I’m enjoying myself with what you give us! |
