Oh my, I read this only today. Haven't had my Blackwater fill for a long time.
This chapter is so heartwarming. I feel so good for both Leah and Jacob; they left hurting, angry, broken. This friendship and knowing someone is there for you really made a difference in Leah's person. Coz Jake was right (ch 5), he can heal at last coz Bella was out of sight. Leah's source of heartbreak is still very much around. But with family and Jake, their life in La Push will be home once again...

Although I like Blackwater romance, Balckwater as the new best pals is just as lovely to read. This friendship makes us look back to our own friends and understand and appreciate what Jake and Leah built. Thanks for this last chapter!

I was not expecting Rachel to be the one that caused the most drama. It's was really entertaining. I'm glad Leah and Jacob are still friends and are going to continue to be.

This was very good. The friendship between Jake and Leah was excellent, natural and comfortable, two young people with similar experiences and understanding. I liked how they grew close from what they shared while traveling. I thought the aspect of Sam’s orders impacting them as they traveled was very good, unique. I liked how they missed home even when they didn’t want to go back, it was home and family was waiting. And I was glad for Jacob to accept Bella was gone. She and the Cullens needed to leave the area, to leave the wolves and I appreciated that.
