Honestly I really enjoyed how you handled the fight scene and I’m loving the character development that you’re building for the SI and Akitsu

First two chapters were some nice fluff. Then I got to this chapter and for the first half what was going through my head was "NTR is a trash fetish." However, when I read to the end I thought it might not be so bad in this case. Just felt like the MC was asking for it with all his poor decisions.

An idea about the origins of Mimic, and why Arata was able to reset Akitsu:
It all ties back to the attribute [Void]. Which is NOT healthy to leave unfilled, and also helps explain the major shift caused by the bond. A tentative one was formed when Arata broke the halfassed connection, the powers he got from her is a resonant link. Now that he winged her, she can help safeguard the power, providing limiters to help him adjust.

Perhaps he could form a link with Uzume? If Chiho’s health issues are anyway related to their bond...
