I know I’m excited for part three. It seems kind of sloppy for Snape to leave any blood on him, but I guess maybe Slytherin held the crucio longer than a moment.

this is such a high quality fic and this is so rare. I can barely wait for the next chapter! Poor Elara, this year is going to be hellish.

I reaaaalllly hate it when AKs are being thrown around like bullets in fan fiction. I think you're right; it SHOULD be difficult, and like dark magic do, it should "poison" the user somehow. I like how you've made a real reason for dark magic to be avoided and distrusted.

I also really like how your Snape, the poor kid from Manchester with a chip on his shoulder and only one real friend to speak of growing up, isn't an Alan Rickman Snape with ultimate poise who never yells. Your Snape is a foul-tempered lacky...and I really think he would've been as a half-blood in Voldemort's world. A powerful lacky to be sure and dead useful, but he would still be the "dog" to be commanded. Book Snape isn't full of poise and grace and political face all the time, he gets FURIOUS, he's unpleasant, he spits, he isn't really liked by anybody, and who's surprised? His life has been utter shit. All of your characters are so well fleshed-out. Elara is an absolute gem and I adore her,. You managed to make an Original Character, who's entire personality is to be quiet, unassuming, and stale. and you make her SO INTERESTING!

Also, omg... thise tea scene in the end is so heart-breaking and cute. Also, there's no way Harriet didn't notice him all covered in blood... wonder what her thought process was about THAT.

I was so happy to be able to catch up on a few chapters. its hard for me to read these stories sometimes one chapter at a time. I am glad I ended up waiting and got in quite a bit. so excited for part three. like extremely excited. I loved how all this played out. longbottom taking the blame was unexpected but nice and I cracked up on how Ron figured Snape got in. his own reflection. gosh that just had me cracking up.

Brilliant end to Part 2. Very much looking forward to Part 3it’s my favourite canon book, and I’m dying to see what happens with Elara and Sirius. Also intrigued to see how things like the Marauders Map etc go down with Harriet, who is very different to reckless Gryffindor Harryshe might actually listen when told she can’t go to Hogsmeade etc?

Great ending to the 2nd part, have you thought of posting a "quick summary" of the events when posting Part 3. There are 95 chapters of content and I sometimes mess up this canon with other stories.

Ahhh! Part two was amazing, honestly, and I can not wait to see what will happen in part three! This chapter was just so good. The death of Selwyn - I felt so hard for Severus, and you write Slytherin so believably evil/cruel. Just such a well written chapter, especially that last part. Really, well done on part two. It's been so gripping. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Remus and Sirius might play into the next part, considering the differences in this AU to canon, and with her being a slytherin as well. (And, of course, Elara's existence!)

I wish I could've favorited the story more than once, this is a great fic!

Oh wow, that last bit about the founders was so heartaching! And ofc Livi would be spoiled! I am so looking forward to third year now!
