Finally got around to reading this chapter and it definitely did not disappoint. When it comes to fanfic duels a lot of them dont invest me as much but your story does that. Seeing Zain and Aster outplay eachother and have strategies behind them is really cool to see. Wonder if this will curb Asters ego in the long run. All in all, this was the quintessential yugioh duel, look forward to the next

It made me grin a bit as Aster realised that losing in front of Alexis was something he really didnt want to. Maybe he feels a bit of attraction towards her :D I like that. And Zane is great here how he opened the duel and kicked Asters (a bit) arrogant butt here. It looked like Aster would win this, but then Zane literally roasted him xD this duel was super exciting! Great job. I‘m excited about how Aster and Alexis do prepare together for the tag duel.

And if it wasn‘t already bad enough what happened at the dorm the rumors about her and Aster are even worse for her. I feel somehow sorry for her being mobbed like this.

Oh Aster, whyyyyy are you so mean to Alexis here? I understand that he loves being on his own and doesn‘t want to trust anyone. Alexis was very sweet that she wanted to help him finding out more. Maybe she slowly realises that he isn‘t that bad.
Ew no, Titan got Alexis! It was somehow so sweet to read that Aster thinks he‘s responsible for that.
Aster really showed his dark side by not showing any sympathy towards him.
Looks like they are getting a little closer now since Aster realised that they have a lot in common and fight for the same. Good chapter and excellent duel!

I agree. I don't think one loss will ruin Aster Phoenix in the long run. If anything else, he looked strong even in defeat to Zane. Makes his character even more interesting. Can't wait for his flashback chapter.

This chapter was super exciting. Finally Alexis found out about Aster‘s dark past and the loss of his father. Hopefully this will lead to a little more sympathy for him.

Another amazing Chapter as always! I'm honestly hoping Zane wins, because Aster needs a lose for else the Duels will just get boring to me if he always wins.

I want Aster to win because seeing him dissing people/having an ego is hilarious but I think him taking an L to Zane would help him grow. Could also end in a draw but that's kinda lame and inconclusive. Now the pain of waiting for the next chapter begins

Zane needs to be the ones to win on this. Aster needs a slice of humble pie. And have him getting cocky enough to lose against him will be far more believable then him ass-pulling a victory.

Lol Aster must not be a big fan of Joey Wheeler's deck. Alexis can run rituals and fusions as long as she believes in our lord and savior, the heart of the cards, right?!

I actually don't know who is going to win this upcoming duel. Zane got pwned the first time they dueled in canon...but then, if Zane own here, it would be a good way to humble Aster into being willing to team with Alexis. For a moment I thought Aster was going to team up with Howard X Miller for the tag duel. That would have been quite the twist haha, but of course this makes more sense.
