God, I want to cry. But how, how in ice cold frozen HELL is Rock ever going to explain this whole adventure to Terry? I mean... *mind blown* jeez. Where to start?! "Oh Athena was a sociopathic bitch, Kensou ran away, Shermie ripped out my girlfriend's eyes and I punched her body to oblivion, Iori murdered Yashiro in a restaurant, we had a gang war, I got stabbed, shot, went into a demonic rage and murdered people etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. et. E T FREAKING C. Whew.

I'm so glad the story ends here, before we ever have to open up that can of worms. My god. Nano, you are beautiful and brilliant and a machine. You've absolutely humbled me with your writing productivity. Kudos to you. And, one last time... congratulations.

I'm glad to see them back in good spirits tho. This chapter was a good half Iori/Rock banter and half philosophy of the fascinating boy he has taken under him on this whole crazy adventure. Now he knows what Rock is: the boy's true color shown at that final battle, when he DIDN'T give into Riot, or Geese Blood, or any other homicidal tendencies, and showed that he was a compassionate teenager. What a ducky.

Haaah. I love breathing the air of normal. They probably do too.

Man... this is supposed to be a moving forward chapter, but I can't help but feel like this is sorta a stall: Kensou is trying to learn how to be without her, but Athena is trying to CHANGE. What would he do if he knew she was trying to change? Maybe I'm looking at this wrong.

In any case, time needs to seriously heal these two. It's gonna take time... nothing but time. Best of luck to both of em.

Dang... kinda bittersweet here. I didn't expect Iori to be that CRUEL to his own clansman. Er... woman. Wow. I'm not sure how i feel about him being so dismissive of it all... hmm.

So ol' Yew made it out eh? I guess he has Rock to thank for that. Rock showed him mercy, and in turn he gets to have a new life with his family. Violence begets violence, peace begets peace. This makes me happy Rock made the choice he did.

Man, this is all happening so fast... I can't quite grasp what's going on here. So it looks like Rock chose to fight back, but he chose NOT to lose himself to his power... he used a fleck of it. But it looks like it wasn't enough to stave off ten guys with knives, because he got turned into a pincushion... GAAAAh. So he gets to keep his peace of mind, but he could lose his LIFE... major gray area here. Not sure what the right choice should have been.

Basically a continuation of the ultimatum from last chap, except this time it's solved: HOLD THE LINE. Those were the truest words ever spoken. That means, even if he has to lose himself, even if he has to do something disgusting and gruesome... what matter is the purpose for it. Survival. To live. He's defending himself, so he can go back to a simpler time, a peaceful time.
