This was a really great story - if you consider angsty and sad fanfics great, which I do since they made me feel (I'm a sucker for punishment).

I really love Gathalie. Since "Style Queen" onwards. Their dynamic is just so complex and unique and beautiful and interesting. LOVE THEM! It's just so sad that Gabriel can't let Emilie go (I'm sure she would've had a thing or ten to say about Gabriel's obsession) and give this up so that he can be there for Adrien and be the good dad he's supposed to be and to get together with Nathalie. They're just so precious! And I just want Gabriel to stop so that we can have a new villain. Hawkmoth's beginning to bore me with his constant failures and his unsuccessful antics. It needs to stop. It's like he's not even trying to win.

Anyway, this was really great and you really got the emotion down, and my heart can't help but bleed and tear itself to shreds for these two, and for poor Adrien who's terrified as it looks like Nathalie is suffering from the similar sickness that his mother did. Ugh! MY FEELS! X(

This is so far the most beautiful Gabriel x Nathalie fanfiction I've ever read. It's beautifully-written. The characters are portrayed perfectly. I love your take on the aftermath of Mayura and I think it really makes sense. I myself have been wondering what was to become of Nathalie after using the Peacock Miraculous and seeing that Mayura will have recurring appearances in S3, I'm feeling like the story is going towards a very grim direction. Will Gabriel be responsible of another of Peacock's victim? What actually happened to the Peacock? I feel like Nathalie's condition will be another factor of Gabriel's urgency in obtaining the Miraculouses.
Lastly, the last paragraph hits me hard, I'm not kidding. Every single word was powerful and painting a strong image in my head. Kudos to you, my friend, you're a legend.
