I love your description of Arnold and Helga's kids, their distinct personalities, what a great mix they are of other family members, and I get a great sense of their family dynamic already. Glad Helga ended up an author.
I'll admit, I was hesitant to dive into this one for fear it would lose me, but amid the sci-fi things still feel very grounded in reality, and I'm digging it so far.
