I like that you didn't leave his background of saving people as just a footnote. You actually brought one or more of them into the story.

Sure, you're not verbally lashing out at your fans, but you are attempting to punish the spammers (who couldn't care less about your stories) by punishing your fans (who actually want to read your stories). That's dumb, at best the trolls will think it's hilarious. You cannot blame the spammers for it; you chose to do it. Nobody held a gun to your head and made you, you chose to. Nobody forced you to waste time on spam reviews either, you chose to. Don't blame other people for your choices and don't put the consequences of those choices on people who had nothing to do with it.
