Well, looks like the question of who Issei will end up with is now in full focus.

It really surprised me to see you bring those two back when it seemed like they were one-time characters, but it worked here because they were characters whose responses were almost impossible to guess because they aren't as well known as the more prominent characters in the story.

Adelaide's maturity is also something I like. She clearly seems to be thinking on how Vali is her literal other half, and that polygamy is an option here, but looks like she can accept not being chosen on the outside... even if that's not true for her inner feelings.

Since the next chapter is him having a date with Vali, this could go anywhere.

This chapter really slowed down the pace of the story, which feels really nice as it gives a feeling that Issei isn’t short on time anymore and needs to rush things.
It was really nice to see Issei’s conflict about his relations and how he chooses to stick to his human side and talk to Toni and Hanna instead of someone from the supernatural with a bias towards poly relationships. The way you handled his doubts about the whole thing was really well written and gave a good insight into his psyche and values, as he doesn’t just say whatever I’ll take them both and instead using it to develop the characters like you do.
I have to say I can’t wait to see if Adelaide actually means that she is okay with polygamy or if it is just something she says to comfort Issei and give him an easier time figuring out his feelings. But for Vali it is going to interesting to see how she will react if she is presented with the choice of polygamy or nothing.
The way you handled the last bit where Vali doubts herself for a moment was also a really nice touch that shows us that she is quite insecure and doubts Issei’s intentions.
The thing I’m most interested in seeing is how the characters will react and trust Issei now that he lied and manipulated them and if they will take everything he says with a grain of salt or they will justify his behavior on grounds of him dying when doing it. But the most interesting path you could take would in my opinion be if not everyone forgave Or trusted him where some of the Vali group would be doubtful and others forgiving that could make for some interesting internal problems for the group.
