Just spent s pleasant evening reading this amazing story once again. Blue Bloods isn’t on and I needed some Danny & Maria fun! Love them both and hoping they will soon be a couple on the actual show.

He loves to explode at people, considering this is his family, even far too often. Jamie didn't deserve his anger this time.
However, it's probably the opinion of the minority, so don't worry about it.

I like that Maria's mother had the chance to get to know Danny and the boys at dinner since Maria has been going to the Reagan family dinner each week. Nice touch!

I figured some drama would come up soon but was surprised that Jamie was the one rather than Henry. While I think that Jamie has a right to ask questions about the speed of things, I am not sure that after the family dinner was the right place knowing Danny's temper and because everyone was there. Jamie probably should have gone out with Danny to express his concerns privately because he was a little aggressive here. I appreciate Frank's explaining to Jamie more about the decisions of Danny and Maria since he had asked similar questions of the two. His further explaining his objection to Eddie and Jamie working together/engaged was interesting but this seems like a double standard, although I see the distinction between on the street cops and detectives.

Will Sean and Uncle Jamie discuss Danny and Maria while they play basketball and hang out? A conversation here might shed some light to Jamie on why the boys are so happy about the new baby, the upcoming nuptials and the relationship between Danny and Maria as well as the one between Maria and the boys.

Well, glad to see (almost) everyone is getting along here. I must state though that Frank couldn't make this statement: He's adopting his own kid. At least to me it doesn't make sense, and secondly Danny has been aggressive for no good reason, so I hope he'll apologize for that. And furthermore, shooting Jamie down for his comments is Frank's thing, you got that to a 'T'. However, it would've been nice, if Danny had told his siblings privately beforehand. If anything, I blame Danny for not communicating his intentions to his siblings correctly. And he wouldn't have dared to do anything this rough with Erin, so this behavior wasn't justified at all. If I was Jamie, Danny wouldn't get an apology. Before I forget, I didn't notice that Jamie was taking issue with Danny and Maria still being partnered that's not his style. Even if he did though, he'd have a point and Frank would owe him an explanation.

While I am not happy with Danny in this chapter, I am happy about you. This was wonderfully written. Looking excitedly forward to the next update.
