And boy do I suspect something. I've played the Birthright path before and I kinda know what to happens at the story point this would take place in.

As it stands, I think this chapter is best suited for the middle of the story, chronological order. Keiji's train of thought is very strongly in his "Hoshidian phase" where he seeks to follow a path of purity and order. If you do keep it as a final chapter, it might fit better if set up as a dream sequence - the Keiji pledged to Camilla reflecting back on the Keiji of old.

This ending was way too hard to swallow.
For a series called “A Night with Corrin” I expected a majority of the fan fiction to revolve around Keiji and Corrin establishing a strong relationship. I could understand adding Felicia as it was a way to write a bridge between making the right choice. But I’ll be honest, I legit skimmed through it, just to get back to Corrin. Anytime a new girl came into the picture I just plowed through it as well. I swear, during development of this story, it was as if you took long breaks, found someone else to love and added it into this story. If you’re going to do that, then save it for another fanfic.
Reading this the whole way, I honestly just wanted Corrin more and more, but not this harem adventure. I actually got mad when Keiji chose to have intercourse with Charolette that I dropped what I was doing and went out for 2 hours to calm down. Keiji should stop being selfish and be way more dedicated to Corrin and hold his harem in, especially for the future family she hinted at.
as for that ending. As far as my Fire Emblem Fates understanding goes, Corrin had to make the toughest decision when it came to choosing between two families that loved her dearly. In this fiction she lives with Hoshido, her true home, Corrin could seriously understand the struggles of strength and choices in fate that Keiji supposedly struggles with. She could have been written in to help him resolve that issue that lies within him. Be there for him when it was needed the most.

On best notes:
Corrin was adorable in this entire fanfic, which is why I am so ‘protective’ of this relationship to blossom and be genuine.
I am fascinated how you used Corrin’s dragon form during the intimate scenes. It was the ever first fanfic I read where Corrin makes use of this ability. Absolutely impressed.
I liked the poverty issue between Nohr and Hoshido, and the major change in making choices of serving your country or doing what you believe is best.
The amount of drama and suspense was fine, just wish it ended on a better note of Corrin kicking down the doors and ‘saving the day’

I just finished this today. I’m gonna try and continue reading this series if it involves Corrin. But gods, please just give this princess the romantic justice she deserves, I can’t stress how much I dislike the harem genre.

The writing quality is good in terms of your spelling and grammar, but the following part of the Content Guidelines is broken for being a second person or you-based story:

You have to remove all of the elements related to the reader and replace them all with any canon character or original character. Switch to the first person or third person point of view. You can always put it on another site where it is allowed like Archive Of Our Own.

Oof, Keiji's story ends with the samurai shouldering some intense guilt and self-loathing. I'm keen to see whether he can hold fast to his Hoshidian ideals as he attempts to reform Nohr from within. On another note, while I've adored Keiji's relationship with Felicia, the bond he's developing Charlotte, a fellow outcast to the Nohrians, has been fun to follow. I love the idea of Charlotte finding inner peace alongside this former enemy, the one man with which she can truly be herself.

Never played Fire Emblem so I have no favorites among the Nohr faction, though I am keen to get inside Camilla's bizzare brain. If I had to sum her up in this story 'motherly psychopath' comes to mind. I wonder what's at the root of her both brutal and affectionate persona.

I will be ready to read the next one. This one was very good. Although, I would like to see more of Corrin and Keiji. I really do appreciate him and Flora and Charlotte. semi complicated character arc with good writing along with it. Very well done.

Man, can't believe this story is over, helluva fanfic. It's been interesting to see how this story evolved from just 'A Night with Corrin' to what it eventually ended up as. The conclusion was completely out of left field, but that doesn't retract from it and just makes me excited for the sequel. I have to give props on the MC, Keiji. I groan anytime a OC is in any fiction, especially if that OC is the main character, but this is one great exception to that rule. My time reading the story has really made me care about what happens to Keiji and what will happen next in his tale, I did find it odd and a bit dumb when it sorta turned into a bit of a harem fic, but even then it just added more subplots and new dynamics and relationships to the story.

Anyway to answer the two questions: My personal favorite Nohrian women are Soleil, Selena, Ophelia, and Nyx.
I prefer Female Kana over Male Kana, always found Male to be more annoying than adorable, but a Male Kana makes more sense with a Fem!Corrin so it all depends.

Anyway, thanks for all the enjoyment I got from reading this story and I can't wait for the sequel, "Shadow of Nohr".
